Welcome aboard! I'm a seasoned maritime professional with a passion for the open sea and a rich background rooted in New Zealand's vibrant boating culture. Growing up around boats, I've gone from racing, cruising, to maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.

A Journey of Expertise

My journey began under the mentorship of Bernard Roads, a legendary NZ sailor and boat builder/naval architect. For over seven years, I apprenticed with him, mastering the art of boat building and system repairs.

This foundation propelled me into exciting roles, including:* Skipper/Captain: Leading voyages on the iconic SWAN 65 (2022-2023) and the 70ft Hanse (2023-2024), where I also managed extensive refit projects.* Racing Enthusiast: Competing annually as bowman and boat captain in prestigious events like the Rolex Cup and Voiles de St Tropez.* Yacht Manager: Overseeing multiple sailing yachts year-round, ensuring they are in prime condition and conducting major refits.* Entrepreneur: Founding my own company to offer top-tier yacht and project management services.

Credentials and Qualifications

I bring a robust set of qualifications to the table:* YM Offshore Commercially Endorsed* High School Diploma with the French Army (2017)* Degree in Automobile Mechanics Engineering & Electrical Maintenance* Advanced Studies: Completed a two-year program at the French National Maritime Academy, specialising in Captain 3000-UMS.
